Today's Workout...OK, Maybe not
So I have been feeling much better since last week. I am getting some energy back and have been testing the waters with running again. I have been able to run at 5.5, which is slow for me, but I am happy that I can do it at all, so it will have to do for as long as I can handle it. then I will be walking. I will also continue to work out with my trainer as long as I possibly can, then it will be his job to whip my ass back into shape after the babies are born. So there you have it, my big news. I have been dying to tell people, but now that I can I am a little scared to call up my friends that don't know yet and share the news. Hmm, I kinda hope none of them stumble on this blog and find out like this rather than me telling them!
So I'm thinking that along with documenting my workouts here, I will also talk about how I am feeling along the way. So far, other than being tired, I feel chubby. I am already showing a bit but it really just looks like I am putting on weight. I am waiting for my stomach to get nice and round and hard and pregnant looking so that I don't feel so self-conscious. Gaining weight is so hard for me, even though I know it is for a good reason. I feel like I have worked so hard over the last 2 years to lose all this weight and keep it off and it is just coming right back on quick. I just hope it comes off as quick after the fact. Then I will never have to go through this again because I will have the two children that I wanted :) Ok, I need to go prepare to watch Lost!

But I was tired and lazy, so I did nothing. oh, wait, I did shovel the driveway, that counts for something, right? even if it was the lightest fluffiest snow I have ever seen.

My Vacation
For the last for days I was in VT with my husband, sister, and future brother in law. They all went snowboarding, but not me. I was all excited because there was a health club with a pool that I could use for a daily fee. My excitement quickly turned to disappointment. This health club that cost $15 a day had only 3 treadmills, 3 ellipticals, 1 stairmaster, 2 spinning bikes, & 2 stationary bikes set up for their cardio section. I was lucky to even get a machine! and the pool...I was SOOOO excited about the pool. I was on the swim team in high school and I love to go swim laps, I usually do it for about an hour straight and have to force my self to stop! this pool was not the standard size pool for laps. I'm not sure why, usually a "health & racket" club would have a standard size pool, but not this one. it was tiny. 5 strokes and I would be at the other side. Plus, people were bringing their kids in to swim for fun, so there was no way I would be able to swim laps with all the kids in the way. I didn't swim at all :( BUT, I did get a nice massage :) I figured if my husband could spend the money on 3 days worth of lift tickets, then I could spend the money on a massage. That was SOOOO worth it. So now I am nice and loose and relaxed. All set to start up my training for the new year. This years training is probably going to be a little bit different for me, much less intense, but for good reasons.
